Ellen founded Make Your Vision Real to meet the diverse needs of growing organizations. She is a strategic thinker with more than 20 years of experience as a problem solver and organization builder for non-profits, multi-million dollar companies, and social enterprises.
Ellen partners with leaders to articulate their visions, gather resources, and map their journeys to success. She is an experienced consultant, with a diverse background in strategic planning, business operations, organizational development, non-profit leadership, social entrepreneurship; journalism, film production; and education.
As the first Executive Director of ESD Global Inc., a non-profit dedicated to ending gender-based violence by scaling access to self-defense training internationally, Ellen partnered with the founder, to grow ESD Global from an idea into a thriving organization reaching 50+ countries. She has supported the development of companies such as Change Logic LLC, Elevate Destinations, Greyston Bakery and Freedom of Mind.
Ellen holds a master's degree from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. She lives in Boston, Massachusetts with her family.
